Introduction
The Red Dot is an attachment for the SMG that allows for more accurate and faster aiming/target acquisition at all ranges.
History

Gameplay
When you pick up a Red Dot Sight, it is automatically equipped to the SMG if the Attachment Auto-Attach option is selected in the general options menu. If this option is not selected, the Red Dot may be equipped to the SMG by clicking and dragging it onto the SMG in the inventory menu. The Red Dot Sight provides a zoom-in feature when aiming down sights by holding down the fire2 key (Default Right Mouse) if the Toggle Aim-down-sights option is selected, or by holding down the sprint key (Default Left Shift) if the Toggle Aim-down-sights option is not selected.
