Overview
In this room we find 3 quarters of the Alpha computer network. This room is very cluttered, so there's plenty of cover and spots to hide. Sitting atop the east desk are a red dot sight, a non-lethal shotgun, as well as some additional ammo for said shotgun. Control room has tile flooring, and it is the only section of the second floor that is not carpeted. In the Southwest corner of this room, there is a vent cover that may be pushed in to reveal a small hiding place with limited visibility. The 2 boxes on the east side of the room grant additional cover, and serve as a great hiding spot because they are removed from the high traffic areas of this room. If you look around, you'll find Alpha terminals 2,3, and 4, strewn about the room. Terminals 3 and 4 can both accessed from between the 2 desks, so 1 intruder in this position can hack the Alpha system nearly twice as fast as anywhere else. The doors here that swing out into the top floor hallway are almost entirely transparent, providing an angle by which players can watch into the hall quite well. The window on this floor is not slippery like it's downstairs brother, so feel free to extend as far out as you feel necessary. While this window can be used to peer at the Bravo 2 computer terminal, it does not provide a very strong vantage point, and can increase your risk of being defenestrated by a nearby explosion. Should the opportunity arise, a short fused frag can be thrown through this window to knock players off of the underpass. If you see the hacks on this system incrementing, but no intruders to be seen, then there is likely somebody hacking Alpha 1.
